bracelet

I finished this linen embroidered bracelet for my sister, who is quite ill, and hope that she likes it.

Yesterday while on my routine walk a bald eagle flew about 30 feet above me and while he glided by i watched as he turned his head back to look at me. It was a magical moment to have a connection with such a gorgeous and powerful bird. I love how eagles are so common here. Last week three of them were circling high above while my cat walked among the thickets in our garden. I feared that they would swoop down and snatch her. Eagles, peregrines (probably too small to take out a cat), red-tail hawks, coopers hawks, coyotes, dogs, raccoons, you've got to be a pretty smart or lucky cat to survive around here.
