hmmm,
my husband brought back two colorways of a fabric from australia this weekend for me and when i looked at the pattern i was amazed. the outline of the "land" is a close approximation of this island! and further x nearly marks the spot where we live! aboriginal patterns always tell a story and this one is called, "watering hole".
